Each eligible individual is permitted to hold one (1) Account on the efek88 Platform. The creation of multiple Accounts by the same individual, whether using different names, email addresses, payment methods, or devices, is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these Terms. efek88 reserves the right to close duplicate Accounts, void any associated bets or winnings, and permanently ban the User in such circumstances.

During registration, you are required to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information, including:

• Full legal name as it appears on your government-issued identification document (e.g., MyKad or passport);
• Date of birth;
• Valid email address;
• Mobile phone number;
• Residential address.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account credentials, including your username and password. You must notify efek88 immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to or use of your Account. efek88 will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your login credentials.

In accordance with its licensing obligations and applicable anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) requirements, efek88 is required to verify the identity of all Users prior to processing withdrawal requests and at any other time deemed necessary by efek88 or its licensing authority.

You may be required to submit any or all of the following documentation:

• Proof of Identity: A clear, legible copy of a valid government-issued photo identification document — for Malaysian nationals, a copy of the front and back of your MyKad; for non-citizens, a valid passport.

Where any conflict arises between promotion-specific terms and these general Terms, the promotion-specific terms shall prevail.

The following general bonus conditions apply to all promotional offers unless explicitly stated otherwise:

• Wagering requirements must be met within the validity period specified for each bonus. Bonuses that expire before the wagering requirement is satisfied will be forfeited.

All bets, wagers, and game sessions placed through the efek88 Platform are governed by the specific rules applicable to each product category — sports betting, live casino, slots, lottery, and poker. These product-specific rules are published within each respective section of the Platform and form part of this Agreement.

A bet or wager is deemed final and binding once it has been confirmed by the Platform and a confirmation reference number has been issued. efek88 reserves the right to void any bet or wager in the event of a technical error, obvious data feed error, or manifest pricing mistake. In such cases, any affected stakes will be refunded to the User's Account Balance.

With respect to sports betting markets — including Liga Super Malaysia, EPL, UEFA Champions League, UFC, and all other covered markets — efek88's official settlement of results shall be based on the final verified result as determined by the relevant sporting authority. In-play betting is offered subject to availability and may be suspended or limited at any time at efek88's discretion.

efek88 operates on a "bad beat" policy for live betting markets — if a result is settled in error and subsequently corrected, all bets will be resettled against the correct result. Users will be notified of any resettlement affecting their Account.

Users of the efek88 Platform are strictly prohibited from engaging in any of the following conduct:

• Registering more than one Account on the Platform;
• Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information during registration or KYC verification;
• Using automated software, bots, scripts, or any other artificial means to interact with the Platform;
• Exploiting technical errors, software vulnerabilities, or pricing anomalies on the Platform;
• Engaging in matched betting, arbitrage betting, or any coordinated strategy designed to circumvent the Platform's risk management systems;
• Laundering money or using the Platform to facilitate any financial crime;
• Transferring Account funds to or receiving funds from third parties;

All intellectual property rights in and to the efek88 Platform — including the brand name, logo, website design, software, text, graphics, game content, data, and all other materials — are owned by or licensed to efek88 and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or licence to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, display, or create derivative works from any of the proprietary materials on the Platform, except to the extent strictly necessary for your personal, non-commercial use of the Services in accordance with these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, efek88 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or in connection with your use of the Platform or Services, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or interruption to gaming sessions.

efek88 does not warrant that the Platform will be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components at all times. Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, third-party network outages, or force majeure events may result in temporary unavailability of the Services.

In all cases, efek88's maximum aggregate liability to any User in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total amount deposited by that User into their Account in the 12-month period immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

efek88 is committed to promoting responsible gambling practices. The Platform is available to persons aged 21 years and above only, and we strictly enforce this requirement through our KYC verification programme.

efek88 provides the following responsible gambling tools, accessible through the Account settings panel:

• The Account appears to be involved in, or associated with, money laundering, fraud, or any other financial crime;
• The User is found to be under the age of 21;
• Continuation of the Account would expose efek88 to regulatory, legal, or reputational risk.

Where an Account is closed due to a confirmed breach, any pending winnings, bonuses, or balance amounts associated with the breach may be forfeited. Where closure occurs for other reasons, efek88 will endeavour to return the genuine Account Balance to the User via their registered payment method following completion of any applicable compliance review.

Users wishing to close their own Account voluntarily may do so by contacting efek88 customer support via live chat or email. Account closure requests will be processed within a reasonable timeframe. Balances remaining at time of closure are eligible for withdrawal, subject to standard KYC and wagering requirement conditions.

In the event of any dispute between a User and efek88 regarding the Platform, Services, or these Terms, the parties agree to first seek resolution through good-faith negotiation. Users may submit a formal complaint by contacting efek88 support. efek88 will acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and endeavour to resolve them within 14 business days.

Where a dispute cannot be resolved through the above process, the matter shall be referred to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the relevant arbitral institution under the applicable licensing jurisdiction. The decision of the arbitral tribunal shall be final and binding on both parties.
